"Ari Kupsus Gallery is opening an exhibition of works by Gábor Szenteleki on November 3, 2010, which will be displayed until November 27, 2010. The show will feature oil on canvas paintings, as well as a few C-prints. Using a distinctly detailed style, Budapest-based Szenteleki’s classical techniques depart from tradition by depicting quasi-realistic figures in surreal situations.

The place is multifunctional: beyond the usual selection of soft-drinks, coffees and various types of alcohol, more than 500 types of Hungarian wine and around 200 types of Pálinka are available.

"The exhibition of about a hundred works by Félicien Rops (1833-1898), a friend of Baudelaire and Mihály Zichy, a great figure of the Belgian symbolism, and a “graphic artist of the modern Decadent movement”, is presented in the framework of the Walloon-Hungarian cultural agreement, through the cooperation between the Hungarian National Gallery and the Félicien Rops Museum of Namur, Belgium.
