New Record Time Winner At 38th Cross-Balaton Swimming Competition

Swimming world champion Kristóf Rasovszky won the annual Cross-Balaton race in a record time on Saturday. The 23-year-old completed the 5.2km distance between Révfülöp and Balatonboglár in 57 minutes, just beating the previous record of 58 minutes and 33 seconds set in 2016 by Mark Papp.

A memorial dedicated to the victims of the 2019 Danube ship collision that claimed the lives of 26 South Koreans in Budapest is planned to be inaugurated in the autumn, Péter Szijjártó, Hungary’s foreign minister, said on Facebook after talks by phone with his South Korean counterpart, Kang Kyung-wha.
