Central Budapest’s Nyugati pályaudvar railway station has reopened after a two-week maintenance period in the early hours of Monday, meaning that passenger trains are again serving the station according to regular schedules. Most of the station has been opened to passengers, although there are still obstacles to pedestrian traffic on the building’s side towards the WestEnd shopping mall.

From June, Smartwings will launch weekly flights from Budapest to Rhodes, Corfu, Palma de Mallorca, Zakynthos, Kos and Heraklion.
