Hungary’s First Lady has drawn attention to the fact that the proceeds of a fair held at the InterContinental hotel in Budapest will go to the Regőczi Foundation that helps children orphaned by Covid.

Diplomatic Spouses of Budapest (DSB) will organise the 10th Diplomatic Fair, again this year under the patronage of Mrs. Anita Herczegh the spouse of the President of Hungary.

On this National Holiday, also known locally as 'the day of the dead' (Halottak Napja), all main shops and public offices are closed. Traditionally, instead of celebrating 'Halloween', Hungarians head to the cemeteries for All Soul's Day - also known as All Hallows Tide, All-Hallomas, or All Hallows' Day.
