All parties of the ethnic Hungarian minority in Romania’s Transylvanian region have rejected the Democratic Coalition’s proposal to ban those who have never lived in Hungary from voting in the country’s election. The party leaders’ comments were published by the Transylvanian Hungarian daily Krónika on Thursday.

Ericsson and Magyar Telekom presented on Thursday the first 5th generation data connection in Hungary, reaching 22 Gbps downlink speed. The 5G connection was presented in Ericsson Magyarország’s Budapest research hub. The integrated radio technology of a 5G network enables 20 times faster downlink speeds than current mobile technologies, Ericsson Magyarország managing director Gábor Éry said.

According to index.hu, the first Jamie’s Pizzeria by Jamie Oliver will be opened in the Gozsdu Courtyard in November. This marks the launch of a whole new restaurant chain, since the star chef only had one pizzeria in India until now. The pizzeria will be opened by the Zsidai Group, the owner of the franchise rights of Jamie’s Italian Budapest.
