1. What’s been happening at work and at home since your first Xpat Interview?
I left my museum-mania life in Budapest, retired and moved to beautiful Kapolcs Village in the Arts Valley in Northern Balaton. Was initially busy renovating and restoring an old ruin on a vineyard estate. Sometimes questioning my sanity, wearing wellies and knee deep in compost!

The Budapest Photo Festival is an annual city-wide exhibition series what represents the contemporary and classical values of the photography by the presence of the Hungarian and international art scene. The aim of the Festival is to create Budapest to be the „City of Photography”.

On view until 25 March 2018, daily 10:00 am–6:00 pm. The Hungarian University of Fine Arts has been uncovering and processing its Art Collections for over two decades, in parallel with ongoing research on the history of the institution.
‘Living Collection’ Exhibition, National Gallery

On until 13 May. The aim is to breathe new life into some of these museum sculptures (selected out of a total of almost 5,000 items), and to make them more visible with the help of some contemporary sculptors and other artists who work in three dimensions.
