This is a retrospection intertwined with our present. The performance is based on Mussorgsky’ s Pictures of an Exchibition, who’s work represent a special atmosphere from another period of time. The past gets rephrased through today’s senses, while we plunge into the river of time looking for our roots and arriving into the present.

The new production of the Eifman Ballet pays tribute to one of the world’s greatest sculptors, Auguste Rodin, and his assistant, lover and muse, Camille Claudel-a relationship of passion and drama. The end of their fifteen-year-long romance was to be the beginning of Camille’s destruction; she suffered a mental breakdown and died forgotten in a mental institution thirty years later, in 1943.

The 15 year-old Compagnie Pál Frenák presented its performance entitled Tricks & Tracks in 1999 and with this piece, the Trafó also became well-known to the public. The basic concept of this legendary and epoch-making production still hasn't lost its timeliness.
