Only 25% support the idea of voter registration, according to the latest survey conducted by Nézőpont Institute, while 70% would like to see everyone given a chance to vote. The survey reveals that 30% of eligible voters would vote for Fidesz, 13% for Jobbik, 10% for the Socialists, 6% for LMP, and 3% for the Democratic Coalition. Of respondents 39% did not answer or would vote for other parties.

Hajdunanas has become the third town in Hungary to launch its own local currency, the Bocskai korona, similar to Sopron franc and the Balaton korona. Legally the currency is a voucher offering discounts at local shops. So far 20 shops in Hajdunanas are participating.
