Is it possible to communicate, and if so, do we mean the same thing by words or are we moving in separate universes? Is communication impossible?
Does each character have an identity and, if so, with whom and what do they identify?
In most scenes we see stories of strong women and unfortunate men.
Hidden in every scene are questions of power.

What do you do when the world is falling apart? How does it affect people and the way they act? These questions are explored through the chance encounter of three strangers on the train platform.
Written by Mark Phelan, a dearly departed member of the expat community, The Platform is a funny, yet astute play about human behaviour.
Cipher Theatre Company will be putting on a dramatic reading ...

This play was chosen as the best new Hungarian drama at the 2019, and is worth watching as the focus is on the workings of Hungarian society, specifically on an episode of the recent socialist past that many locals are still familiar with - in Hungarian yet recommended for expats.
