Hungarian Street Aid Groups Receive Cars That Could Save Lives

The Ministry for Human resources donated twelve cars to Budapest street aid organizations on Friday to help social work and the supply of homeless people. Imre Nyitrai, Deputy State Secretary for Social Affairs said that the cars could even save lives.

The Capital Court has ordered 14th District council to apologise in a private letter and pay Ft 500,000 in compensation to each of the six homeless people whose huts were destroyed by the council in October 2011. The ruling is open to appeal.
