A group of over 1,000 migrants set off on foot from Hegyeshalom in the direction of the Austrian border on Wednesday afternoon, public news channel M1 reported. This was the second group that attempted to cross into Austria on foot today. By Thursday morning the number of migrants waiting at Budapest’s Keleti railway station has reached 2,000, Tibor Lakatos, a senior officer of the national police, told the press.
