China’s Huawei is spending almost 10 billion forints on developing Hungary’s broadband network, and it will expand its new regional innovation centre in the country, company officials announced. The number of 4G service subscribers of Magyar Telekom was above 450,000 at the end of 2014, up from 320,000 at the end of October, the subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom announced. The increase was 70% in 2014 from one year earlier.

In television advertisements of its Next Business XL and M packages run over six weeks in autumn 2013, the company failed to inform the targeted SMEs that the monthly fees apply only for four or more subscriptions and if other conditions were met.
