Two metro carriages were named in Budapest on Monday after two surviving legendary soccer players who played in Hungary’s Golden Team in 1953. Plaques on the front and back of the carriages bearing the names of Jenő Buzánszky and Gyula Grosics were unveiled by Budapest mayor István Tarlós and Alstom CEE deputy CEO Alf Henryk Wulf.

The Bubi bicycle rental network is expected to start operating in Budapest next April, MOL CEO Zsolt Hernádi and mayor István Tarlós announced on Wednesday. MOL, as chief sponsor of the project, will provide Ft 122 million of the estimated Ft 250 million annual costs of the system. The remainder will be paid by the city, which will receive the revenue from the rentals.
