Éva Rónai is a defining figure of Hungarian textile art. She creates her works using the demanding French tapestry technique on an upright loom, which is very time-consuming and requires tremendous patience, energy, and physical fortitude. Despite her use of a traditional tapestry technique and her choice of biblical-mythical subject matter, her works are surprisingly realistic.

The word nude entered the English language from Latin, originally in the sense of "plain, explicit". In art, the term first denoted representations of clothed or half-naked models with the intention of studying their figures, postures and gestures, before it started to refer to the naked human body. Before the Renaissance, nude representation was usually reserved for symbolic messages.

It has been rumored in Hungary for years that the Trianon peace dictate was created for 100 years and that Hungary would get back its lost territories by 2020. A historian explains why that is a myth. Interviewed by Iván Marinov, author of urbanlegends.hu blog, historian Balázs Ablonczy, PhD, author of the monograph Trianon legendák, says the treaty doesn’t include any reference to expiry.
