Surpassing the psychological limit of HUF 300 billion (~EUR 963 million) for the first time, the net turnover reached HUF 319 billion (~ EUR 1024 million). Auchan plans to launch its home delivery service in the autumn, the French-owned hypermarket chain told Magyar Idõk. Online ordered retail deliveries expanded by 16% last year, exceeding the average increase in retail trade, Auchan noted.
