Parliament on Tuesday adopted the amendments to the regulations of the Itemised Tax for Small Businesses (KATA), pushing the income threshold for taxpayers to 18 million forints (EUR 44,000) per year from 12 million, and restricting the circle of eligible entrepreneurs.

E.ON Hungária Zrt., the Hungarian unit of the E.ON Group has decided to move its Budapest site to BakerStreet, developed by ATENOR Hungary. E.ON will occupy their new Hungarian headquarters from the second quarter of 2024 on 16,200 sqm, in the first phase of the BakerStreet office campus.

The water supply in all settlements west of Budapest has been restored, regional waterworks DMRW said on Sunday, but added that due to the continuing heat wave restrictions will stay in force in Solymár, Pilisszentiván, Pilisborosjenő, Pilisvörösvár, Pilisszentkereszt, Budakalász, Pomáz, Szentendre, Pilisszántó, Üröm, and Csobánka.
