Having a free Sunday morning on my hands, a friend and I visited the Szimplakert Haztaji Market. The great ambiance was still there. Almost every seller had samples out to try, whether it be szorp, jam, baked goods, spreads or cheese. All the sellers were friendly, chatty, and proud of their products.

Sunday morning Lydia and I explored the newish Szimplakert Haztaji Piac (open Sunday 9-14, Kazinczy u. 14, VII ker). I cannot stand the crowds at night at Szimpla, so I tend to avoid it. "Budapest’s A38 boat has been voted “Best Bar in the World” in an online poll arranged by travel guides publisher Lonely Planet. The A38 won with 13,000 votes, ahead of the De Witte Aap club in Rotterdam with 9,718 votes and Budapest’s Szimpla Kert with 4,480 votes.
