Invitation To Annual Remembrance Ceremony, Solymár, 8 November

In 2015 the Annual Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday 8 November. The traditional service and wreath-laying ceremony will take place at the Commonwealth War Cemetery of Solymár at 10:55. Everybody is welcome to attend the ecumenical service. Those who do are kindly requested to arrive at the cemetery no later than 10:45. The service lasts approximately 20 minutes.

Opposition parties criticised the government’s farmland programme in a parliamentary debate dedicated to the plan. The Socialists said that the government’s auctioning off stateowned farmland will not prevent foreign nationals from obtaining estates in Hungary. On the contrary, foreigners could not buy land if all those plots remained publicly owned, Socialist deputy chair Zoltán Gőgös said.
