Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó has reopened the Hungarian embassy in Lima. Latin America has become one of the fastest developing regions in the world, with Peru producing an even higher rate of growth, Szijjártó told MTI by phone. Both Peru and Hungary have a very open economy and pursue an economic policy aimed at free trade.

Iran and Hungary have signed a cooperation agreement in university research, to be coordinated by Hungary’s Szeged University and the University of Yazd in Iran, education state secretary László Palkovics told MTI on Monday. As well as lots of porky specials available along several 'Sausage Streets', there will be family programs, folklore shows, 'nostalgic music programs' and dance, plus apparently presentations of enormous sausages, during this three day special Hungarian gastro event.
