Sausage Festival In Budapest, 13 - 15 October

This annual festival featuring 250 types of spiced up meat will be held at the Hungarian Railway Museum this year. As well as lots of porky specials available along several 'Sausage Streets', there will be family programs, folklore shows, 'nostalgic music programs' and dance, plus apparently presentations of enormous sausages, during this three day special Hungarian gastro event.

Budapest Wine Festival organisers always offers a great variety of the finest wines of Hungary’s best winemakers along with foreign wines. This wide range includes prize winning wines from winemakers who have won awards and medals at well known domestic and international competitions. They are also happy to answer questions and give advice to event guests.

From the organisers: One afternoon in the summer of 2002, I was drinking wine with one of my musician friends in a garden in Veszprém. He told me that he had seen Pavarotti in Austria, performing in a cathedral which had room for about a thousand people.
He was surprised, that the Maestro gave a concert in such a small place.

What does VinCE stand for?
As suggested by its name, the primary focus of the event is wine (as in vin) exhibited in Central Europe (CE). 160 exhibitors are scheduled to take part in the event with exhibitors coming from Hungary and the neighboring countries but some winemakers from outside the region will also offer their bottles for tasting between 17 - 19 March in Corinthia Hotel Budapest.
