The State Audit Office (ÁSZ) has submitted to parliament its schedule of audits of Hungary’s political parties, party and other foundations, the tax office and the state treasury to be performed in the first half of 2018, ÁSZ said.

Fresh back from the Nevada desert, Budapestians Daniel Kaali and William Clothier both return with top 100 places out of 1655 competitors and 12th and 13th respectively in their age groups. Daniel managed a 58th overall finish, which although already a top 4% finish is down from his 2016 placing of 17th overall.

The St Andrew's Ball is now an established Scottish entry into the year’s social calendar - thanks to lots of hard work by the St Andrew's Association team, it's becoming a well-oiled machine. Held at the Budapest Marriott Hotel last Saturday, in the main ballroom this year, it was a 'full house' expat community event.
