Today Hungarian gypsy music is a national and European cultural value which Hungary has every right to be proud of and its preservation and renewal is a top priority.

    The summer festival features a series of concerts in the courtyard of the fairy tale castle of Vajdahunyad Var. Not only is the castle itself a really romantic venue, but also the surrounding area of the City Park is too. Around this area are many of Budapest beautiful attractions, from Szechenyi Bath to the Art Nouveau Budapest Zoo, or the Millennial Monument on the Heroes’ Square flanked by two art museums.

    The trio formed in 2011 from students of the Liszt Academy of Music with the aim of experimenting, stretching the possibilities of jazz, sometimes with traditional or jazz fusion, sometimes with the equipments of free music. In this year at 'Talentometer', in the Jazz genre they achieved first prize.

    A small union has formed within the Chinese community In Hungary, due to the substantial increase in Chinese population here over the past few decades. Members of this union are largely business owners (both large and small), who have come together with the purpose of providing various entertainment opportunities to Chinese citizens in Budapest. These opportunities include but are not limited to sharing cultural information, coordinating activities, organizing competitions, and so on. Ever since 2009, the Chinese Karaoke Competition, organized by the union, has been a favorite hotspot for Chinese residents in Budapest.
