Beata Szekely Exhibition Opening, Ari Kupsus Gallery, 16 March
- 14 Mar 2017 11:00 AM
The exhibition is an official event of the international "Suomi/Finland 100"-jubilee year.
The Ari Kupsus Gallery is honouring with all the exhibitions and activities during the year 2017 the 100th Independency of the Republic of Finland. The gallery has asked all the artists who's works will be exhibited during this jubilee year to name/create/paint min one piece of art in honour of Finland.
Among Beata Szekely’s exhibited paintings there is one very beautiful painting of a little bird, Nuthatch (Pähkinänakkeli in Finnish) which is an endangered bird species in Finland and that’s why highly protected. Beata chose this painting to draw our attention to the beauty of the nature and to understand how vulnerable the nature also can be.
For us Finns the nature is very important and we do a lot to save and preserve it for the future generations. This is not unfortunately the case everywhere in the world……
