For the 7th year of the Paloznak Jazz Picnic, we once again prepare for a special atmosphere on Day Zero with a huge all-night concert (Thursday); smaller club-like venues that were a hit last year will be featured again, just as lightmapping, sitting in the grass, and the best of the local wines and cuisine around Lake Balaton.

3 days, more than 20 musical performances, children’s programs, festival bus, and of course the proximity of Lake Balaton to let you splash before concerts.

Gastronomy and Children’s Programs:

Visitors find a remarkable, quality event each year not only in respect to musical repertoire and performers, but also in gastronomy. The picnic atmosphere is complete with picnic baskets, chilled wine, and blankets.

It is worth lying down in the grass at any time of the day to enjoy the wines of the Csopak-Paloznak region in the sunshine, taste the items of the organizer Homola Winery, and have some of the freshly made nibbles to go with it.

In one of the most beautiful corners of the Balaton Highlands, we strive to make this festival environmentally friendly to the greatest possible extent. We avoid using plastic as much as we can, and only offer compostable cups and plates made of plant fibers. Please help us protect the environment and to protect Lake Balaton!

Jazz Picnic bus:

Before the concerts, buses from Balatonfüred, Balatonalmádi and Balatonfűzfő arrive to Paloznak, after the performances, they go back in the opposite direction of Paloznak.

Route:

We recommend that you book your accommodation near Paloznak in time. Since the picnic bus will be running before, during and after the concerts to Balatonalmádi, Balatonfüred, Csopak, Alsóörs and Lovas (schedule to be updated shortly), you may want to check out these towns as well.

Boglart Festival by Balaton to Feature International Performers & Family Programs
