Market-Based Fuel Prices Rise on Friday in Hungary
MOL will raise the wholesale price of fuel from Friday as the forint weakened sharply against the dollar this week.

The non-regulated price of 95-octane fuel will rise by Ft 8 per litre to Ft 687 and that of gasoline by Ft 22 to Ft 794 per litre.

The government has extended the retail fuel cap of Ft 480 per litre until October 1 for passenger cars.

Drivers of company-owned cars and foreign-registered vehicles must pay the market price.

Unregulated petrol and gasoline prices climbed by Ft 23 and Ft 71 per litre in two weeks. Gasoline prices peaked at Ft 833 and petrol prices at Ft 802.
