Vegetable Prices Up by 30.2% in Hungary, Official Stats Show
Farm gate prices in Hungary rose by 27% year on year in February, slowing for the fifth month in a row, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said.

Crop prices grew by 16.5%, as grain prices increased by 22.3%, while industrial crop prices fell by 6.6%, dropping for the first time in close to four years.

Vegetable prices increased by 30.2%, while fruit prices rose by 19.5%.

The price of livestock and animal products increased by 54.6%, as prices for live animals rose by 55.6% and animal products prices by 52.7%.
