Nights Spent by Domestic Travellers & Foreigners’ Stays in Hungary on Rise

Guest nights at commercial and private accommodations in Hungary rose by an annual 5.1% to 3.1 million in October from the same period a year earlier, data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) shows.
The number of guest nights spent by domestic travellers rose by 1.2% to 1.5 million, while guest nights spent by foreign visitors rose by 9.1% to 1.6 million.
In January-October, guest nights spent by domestic travellers fell by an annual 6.4%, while foreigners’ guest nights rose by 12%, KSH said.
