Budapest Wine Festival, Castle District, 7 - 10 September
The Budapest Wine Festival is an annual celebration held in the historic surroundings of Buda Castle every September. This year, instead of the classic tasting glass, guests will receive a special Champagne glass at the entrance.

Wine producers and enthusiasts gather to sample the finest examples from Hungary’s many wine regions, match them with fine delicacies, exchange ideas and enjoy the panoramic views from this stunning setting overlooking the Danube.

For the first time in its 32-year history, this September the Budapest Wine Festival will be opening its VIP terrace to the general public for them to enjoy fine wines in exclusive comfort and privacy.

This year’s guest of honour, a status granted to an international producer, is South America, with many labels being showcased from several countries.

Alongside, a gourmet courtyard will feature superb delicacies to accompany the right glass of wine in a harmony of flavours.

Limited early bird tickets are still available until 15 July – but hurry, as these heavily discounted tickets sell out quickly.
