Polo, “The Sport of Kings” was first played in Persia in the 5th century BC. Originally, it was a training game for cavalry units, usually the king's guards. The modern game, formalized and popularized by the British, has now arrived to Hungary. Taking place at Kincsem Park, the “Polo Festival” was held, with Arena polo matches, fashion show, hat competition, pony riding and lots more.

“Intact” coaching has been alive and kicking in Budapest for some 20 years. This is largely down to the charming and charismatic Sari van Poelje, who has been hopping back and forth between Holland and Hungary. No doubt she has collected a wealth of knowledge and expertise on the way.
