The banknotes can be exchanged and converted at Magyar Posta offices until January 2020. New Ft 20,000 notes with enhanced security features were issued last year.

Budapest city council on Wednesday supported a contract between public transport company BKV and the Development Ministry on upgrading the M3 metro line with 28 affirmative votes and one abstention. The overall cost of the project on the north-south Pest line is Ft 139.5 billion.
