The structure and concept of the fireworks traditionally held on 20 August will be renewed says Ákos Kara, Secretary of State for Infocommunication and Consumer Protection, Ministry of National Development, announced at the press conference on Monday. Being true to the tradition, the venue remains the Buda Castle and its surroundings, however due to building works in the Castle there will be a few changes.

This is the Budapest festival for Csángó Hungarians, and the event has international connections as The Pro Minoritate Foundation and the Csángó Cultural Association of Moldva are involved with organising this uniquely colourful and entertaining festival at Millenáris Park on Saturday, 18th February at 19.00.
