Hungary’s interior ministry would like to create a central facial database containing a photograph of all Hungarian citizens, reports daily online newspaper Napi.hu. According to the legislative proposal appearing on the ministry website, those state organs will have access to the database which are engaged in law enforcement of any kind, including the Hungarian parliament’s security services.

Fifteen percent of Hungarians find the internet vital for planning their summer holidays, and 8% say they cannot do without internet access during that time, business daily Világgazdaság said, citing a recent survey by PayPal and GfK. Just over 40% of Hungarian holidayers surfed the net for offers and 63 % gathered information about the selected site using search engines.
