The annual Belvárosi Festival is being held between 26 – 28 May, for the 11th time in 2017, all around downtown districts Belváros - Lipótváros. Entry to all concerts is free of charge, sounds range from pop to electric to world music, performances areas include Szabadság tér, Erzsébet tér, Zrínyi utca, Szervita tér - read on for the full program.

This year, 17 adaptations will be presented in four different venues (the Opera House, Erkel Theatre, Music Academy and Müpa), including popular plays like Hamlet, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
