BKK Centre for Budapest Transport: BKK modifies some of its timetables in March 2015 in order to provide more convenient transfers and better coordinated service. After the changes there will be more frequent bus services to the Buda Castle at weekends, more even service on parallel surface lines and coordinated timetables with the trains to Liszt Ferenc International Airport.

On New Year’s Eve, substantially more frequent services and buses with higher capacity will ensure that everyone will be able to reach their destination in Budapest. Traffic changes will be made in public transport service and on roads and Danube bridges on the eve and the day of St. Stephen’s Day (Tuesday, 19 August and Wednesday, 20 August 2014). Already on 19 August 2014, traffic restrictions will be in place at several locations in the city due to preparations for the celebrations, therefore some public transport lines will run on modified routes.
