Rembrandt and the Painting of the Dutch Golden Age, a large-scale exhibition to run in the Museum of Fine Arts from 1 November surveys the period of 17th-century Dutch art, one of the golden ages of European culture. The exhibition is built around Rembrandt, the greatest master of the period, by whom 20 masterpieces will be on display.

Let me summarize what we know so far about the U.S. action against certain Hungarian businessmen and government employees. Initially it was reported that ten people were banned from entering the United States, but by now that number has been reduced to six. We definitely know of one businessman who reported on his fate to ATV.

Socialist Party leader József Tóbiás, lashing out at fellow left-wingers, declared that his party would no longer be willing to strike compromises. “The Socialist leadership has decided to no longer take part in a game of elites, will not strike bad compromises and will open to the public, to the people,” he vowed. He also branded Ferenc Gyurcsány, DK’s leader as “authoritarian”.

The Musical well as well as the Rock-garden and Japanese garden of the Margaret Island has been opened. The island became more ordered over the last four years and further developments will take place in the future, said Mayor István Tarlós during the ceremony.
Debut Of Giant Otters In The Budapest Zoo

From now on the visitors of Budapest Zoo can observe a new, special species, which was never seen there before. On September 10th rare giant otters have arrived to the Zoo. There are three of them, and they have received their own place behind the Palm house (Pálmaház).
