The Hungarian National Film Fund said that no decision had been made yet on granting support to an international co-production starring French actor Gerard Depardieu. The Fund denied information reported by Hollywood Reporter, according to which the Hungarianscripted WW1 drama entitled It’s Showtime, Siberia! is expecting 2 million dollars from Hungary’s Film Fund.

The European Commission said it cleared 95.7 million euros in investment aid for the construction of a plant by Apollo Tyres in Hungary. “The Commission found that the aid granted by Hungary favours regional development while any distortions of competition will remain limited,” the EC said.
