Ericsson and Magyar Telekom presented on Thursday the first 5th generation data connection in Hungary, reaching 22 Gbps downlink speed. The 5G connection was presented in Ericsson Magyarország’s Budapest research hub. The integrated radio technology of a 5G network enables 20 times faster downlink speeds than current mobile technologies, Ericsson Magyarország managing director Gábor Éry said.

According to pestbuda.hu, the seventh bridge of Budapest was inaugurated 80 years ago, on the 12th of September, 1937. The bridge connecting South Buda and South Pest was originally called Horthy Miklós Bridge, but it was renamed to Petőfi Bridge after WWII. The construction of the bridge was necessary due to the dynamic development of Budapest.
