Consumer prices in Hungary fell by an annual 0.1 percent in August, dropping for the fourth month in a row, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Thursday. CPI dropped on a 4.1% fall in prices for the category of goods that includes vehicle fuel. Food prices were up by 0.6%, the price of alcohol and tobacco climbed by 1.9% and service prices rose by 1.1%.
