Thousands of people took to the streets of Budapest last week for the 2017 ‘March of the Living’ – an event to commemorate the 550,000 Hungarian Jews killed in the Holocaust.

A demonstration was held in Budapest’s Heroes Square on Wednesday afternoon in protest against a bill concerning civil organisations, which they view as stigmatising some of those groups.
