Budapest Art Factory (BAF) is pleased to present the solo exhibition of Sabina Sakoh (DE), who is represented by the Galerie Michael Schultz, Berlin, entitled Rien ne va plus. As the off-site VIP program of Art Market Budapest, a guided tour will be held with the participation of the artist on October 12. Sabina Sakoh is the guest artist in October, 2014.

The Bridging Europe arts festival will focus on German culture during its four-day programme starting on Sept. 10 this year. The festival organised for the second time by the Palace of Arts and the Budapest Festival Orchestra seeks to find connections between Hungarian culture and the cultures of other countries through music. Last year the Czech Republic was in focus.

Hungarian painter Mihály Munkácsy’s famous Christ Trilogy will be separated, as Christ before Pilate (1881) is returning to Canada after talks between Hungarian government officials and the owner fell through, Déri Museum spokesman Attila Nehéz told MTI.

As the earliest sheets in the Budapest collection are from 1892 the exhibition wishes to shed light upon the last decade of his oeuvre (1891–1901), characterised by lively lithographic activity.
