I’ve been away from Budapest for the last two weeks. For the first time I went back to London to the annual gathering of all British Ambassadors from around the world. It was my first time there and so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But the week was really good.

Embassies In Hungary Going Green And Fair Trade

"In January, the Dutch Embassy became the first embassy in Hungary to go Fair Trade. The embassy just placed their first order of Treehugger Dan's Fair Trade Kafequo coffee (55% arabica/45% robusta). The beans come from Peru and Tanzania, and are mixed and roasted by Caffe Agust in Italy. This move was quickly followed by the Gambian Embassy.

"Hungarian airspace has been opened at noon on Monday, local air navigation services Hungarocontrol has announced on Monday. Earlier in the day it has cleared only overflight traffic above 7,500 metres (24,000 feet). With no flight restrictions in effect the Ferihegy Airport is also open for the air traffic.
