Swiss firm Stadler has supplied the last two commuter trains to state railway company MÁV and Austrian-Hungarian railways Gysev Cargo, reports Világgazdaság. MÁV signed a contract with Stadler in March, 2013 for the purchase of 42 Flirt commuter trains for €267 million, mostly funded by the EU. Stadler will supply six trains to Gysev in a related deal.

National Police head of department József Óberling said during a similar operation last year, some 26,000 checks found 600 drunk drivers, a rate of 2.2%. Alcohol consumption played a part in 10% of the accidents last year, he said.
