The 10,000th employee of Audi Hungaria Motor has started work at the Győr factory, personnel director Erzsébet Knáb announced yesterday after a brief ceremony. The Animal Health Institute has detected anthrax among a flock of 210 sheep in Jászladány, Jász county, Regional Development state secretary Endre Kardeván told reporters on Monday. He said government authorities are in full control of the situation, stressing that anthrax has not been detected in any humans and the farm has been placed under quarantine.
