Another youth support office opened in Budapest, this time on the Buda side. Péter Mihalovics, Ministerial Commissioner in charge of the future of the new generation recalled at the opening of the Buda Youth Support and Contact Point Office in District II that the New Generation Programme was adopted by the Government one year ago.

State-owned Hungarian railway company MÁV on Thursday failed to take back a rental property in Budapest from a company that operates a makeshift Chinese market at the site. MÁV cancelled the rental contract for the site with Komondor on June 17.

"Tenor and soprano sax player, Gábor Bolla (22) is already one of the great stars of the Hungarian jazz world. At the age of ten he started playing the clarinet, at twelve he won first prize in the National Music Schools' Competition. Then he took up the saxophone and, in 2003, he made it to the semi-finals of the World Saxophone Competition at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
