They have released 11 studio albums in their 40-year career and are credited, along with fellow Californians Green Day and Rancid, for reviving mainstream interest in rock in the 1990s. The band has sold over 40 million records worldwide over the years and has become one of the biggest-selling rock bands in history.

  • Preparations for Budapest Peace Summit 'in Full Swing'

    The United States has not cancelled the peace summit with Russia planned for Budapest, the timing alone is questionable, but preparations against fake news are still underway, said Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, following his meeting with his American counterpart in Washington on Wednesday 22 October.

    Although we thought in 2016 that we could say goodbye to Roxette and the chance to hear their evergreen hits live, Per Gessle, the band's founder, has now picked up the torch and will return to the stage in 2025 with Swedish superstar Lena Philipsson on a tour called Roxette In Concert. The first stop on the European tour will be Budapest, on 4 November at the Budapest Arena.
