"In spring 2011 the Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest launched a comprehensive program (Budapest Mummy Project) devoted to the interdisciplinary research of four mummified bodies in the Egyptian Collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest.
Several times each year, Xpats from the North American Women's Association bring together children (ages 9 to 16) from a Hungarian orphanage and seniors from a local retirement home. This program was created to offer “adoptive” grandparents and their grandchildren something that simple donations would not – love and attention. These events are held in a setting where seniors and orphans can interact and form bonds – like at the aquarium, the zoo, the circus, while painting ceramics, and at the most popular event, at Bingo!
