Close to 40 people attended Intact’s coaching and supervision Salon, 8th May. On this fifth Salon Drs. Sari van Poelje, managing director of Intact, gave a presentation on “The Happy Nomad”. Australia’s 2013 Oscar Nominee, Cate Shortland’s LORE won XX. Titanic International Filmfest’s Breaking Waves Award worth 8000 Euros, supported by the Hungarian National Film Fund. The jury, whose head was the world famous Jiři Menzel, awarded Mira Fornay’s MY DOG KILLER with a special award. The Audience’s Award was given to the Czech director, Petr Nikolaev for his film, LIDICE.
