The earthquake was also felt in Debrecen. All the seismological agencies are reporting a depth of 10 km which is very shallow. Depending on the underground and the soil type the shaking may generate some slight damage. A moderate earthquake struck near Dormand but was widely felt in the country. In Budapest mostly as a slight shaking. Epicenter below Erdotelek.

The primary at Britannica International School gave us a great reception for our 'We're all different -- we're all the same!' presentation. We were invited to present to parents, teachers and children at the school's morning assembly as part of the countdown to our May 25th Sports for Everybody Event and also to accept the school's incredibly generous nearly 300,000 Forint donation.

Bells chimed in Budapest Wednesday evening to mark the election of a new pope at the Vatican to succeed Benedict XVI. The Conference of Catholic Bishops said it had been ordered that bells be sounded in the Esztergom-Budapest Diocese upon the election of the new pontiff.
