Earlier, when interviewed by police, he denied having run over that policeman deliberately.

The team manger and coach of the Gyõr women’s basketball team were killed when their bus crashed head-on into a car and ended up in a roadside ditch on Saturday. The car had swerved into the oncoming lane on route 85 between Kapuvár and Vitnyéd as the bus was carrying the team to a friendly game in Sopron.

A shot was fired during a bank robbery in the 13th District around noon Wednesday. The robbery was carried out at a bank near Béke tér, state news agency MTI reported.
